Swedish illustrator and designer Fideli Sundqvist is a celebrated paper artist with clients the likes of Louis Vuitton, Canon and Opel.
In her second year at design school, Fideli discovered her love of working with paper. “My brother was studying in Beijing and brought home a book containing paper art,” she explains on her website. “The book itself was pretty cheesy, but I remember being in awe over the amount of time someone had put into the pictures. That made me want to try to translate my images into paper cut-outs.”
After constructing a 3D paper artwork for her final university project, Fideli began making paper artworks full time. She has also released two books, the plant-inspired Paper Garden, and I Love Paper, both of which include 40 paper projects for you to work on (they’re available to purchase here).
