Markus Linnenbrink’s Colourful Mural

German-born, New York-based artist Markus Linnenbrink has created a new mural on the facade of a near completed hotel and residence in Miami.

At 40 000 square feet, this gigantic mural features Marcus’s signature drip style and was commissioned in order to bring a spot of colour to the neighbourhood.

“The project was quite a while in the making,” explains Markus in the video below. “It’s basically treating the whole giant facade as a canvas. Everything is painted in one run from top to bottom. It looks very spontaneous, but it comes out of a concept.”
