Weylandts Launches The Damara Collection

Weylandts has just launched Damara, a new contemporary storage collection designed by Ana Weylandt and graphic designer Anelle Mostert.

The collaborative collection features four pieces made from walnut veneer, each showcasing detailed graphic engravings inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the 1930s, as well as African ethnic circular patterns. The production process sees each piece go through 120 sets of hands before completion, highlighting the focus on quality and attention to detail.

Other details include clear oil finishes, a polyurethane black coating on the oak veneer frame and push-to-open door mechanisms.

The Damara Collection includes a storage cabinet (R19 170), media unit (R16 140), sideboard (R19 170) and pedestal (R8 070).
