Wavescape Art Board Project

Nine South African artists have each transformed a fish surfboard into a collectable work of art for this year’s Wavescape Festival.

The surfboards went on auction at Tiger’s Milk in Muizenberg, Cape Town on 1 December to raise money for the NSRI, the Waves For Change trauma programme, Shark Spotters, Cancer Dojo and The Little Optimist Trust.

Renowned artists Beezy Bailey, Brett Murray, Asha Zero, Andrew Whitehouse, Chris Brehem, Conn Bertish, Jake Aikman, One Love Studio and Sanell Aggenbach have all created a board.
