Photographer Levon Biss started photographing insects as a side project. He is now collaborating with the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on a large-scale exhibition.
Using a technical and complicated method, it takes Levon between two and three weeks to finish photographing a particular insect.
The results are mesmerising. Thanks to developments in photography, this is as close as we’ll likely ever get to seeing exactly what these wondrous creatures really look like.
The exhibition runs from 27 May until 30 October 2016 at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.
