Self-taught woodworking sculptor David Roy has created over 150 unique kinetic sculptures since he started his studio Wood That Works in 1975.

“Common elements in my work include motion and wood,” explains David on his website. “All my current work is powered by constant force springs. You wind them and then sit back to be entertained for hours.”
Watch the clip above to see the beauty created by David’s pieces as they’re set in motion.
David’s works are available to purchase via woodthatworks.com.
