This 52-second clip showcases a fun new design by Los-Angeles-based artist Neil Mendoza. Using digital and mechanical technology to create his pieces, this latest project centres around the “animal selfie”.
While Joji the hamster runs on his wheel, a combination of software and mechanics helps to create a machine-drawn action selfie. “The Hamster Powered Hamster Drawing Machine is the machine hamsters everywhere have been waiting for, finally bringing workout selfies to the animal kingdom,” quips Neil.
