The Uashmama range takes the humble paper bag and turns it into a highly desirable and re-usable bag.

Originally made by LE SORELLE (“The Sisters”), an Italian family-run company in Lucca, Tuscany, the Uashmama (pronounced wash mama) range of paper bags feel like leather and they wash like fabric. Even their manufacturing process is similar to leather, as each individual sheet of paper is stretched and tanned to make it durable. For extra green points, the paper is made using virgin fibre from cultivation, and not through deforestation.

The full collection features a wide range of products, from paper bags that can be used to carry things or even a spot for plants, through to handbags, backpacks and wallets. Our particular favourite here at VISI is the metallic collection.
