Tinsel relocates to Parkhurst

After six years in Melville, Tinsel has relocated to a great new space in the buzzing heart of Parkhurst – on the corner of 4^th avenue and 11^th street. Aside from the dazzling items on offer, their new shop is worth checking out for the beautiful interior design.

Light and airy, it features clean lines and minimal decoration: a great backdrop for the collection of beautiful and original South African contemporary jewellery. Only the best quality jewellery – all handmade locally by the designers themselves – is selected for the shop, and since most of the pieces are one-of-a-kind and exclusive to Tinsel there are always interesting new pieces on display. Some of the local designers featured include: Geraldine Fenn, Eric Loubser, Philippa Green, Ida-Elsje, Liz Loubser, Shelley and Harry, Smith by Anna, Tracey Lotter and Nicky Savage. They are also happy to do custom-made pieces, and specialise in engagement rings that are classical with a quirky twist.
