Founded by designer Oroma Cookey-Gam and artist Osione Itegboje in 2016, “This Is Us” champions sustainability, ethical production and tradition through its use of local Nigerian resources, such as Funtua cotton. Grown and woven in Katsina (Northern Nigeria) and meticulously hand-dyed at Kano’s historic Kofar Mata dye pits; this fabric forms the foundation of the brand’s unique creations.

“Our commitment to traditional techniques ensures that each piece tells a story, connecting the wearer to the vibrant cultural heritage of West Africa,” explains Osione.
