Eric Edwards is a self-confessed collector; from vinyls and comic books to authentic autographs and antique clocks. But it’s his love of African artefacts that caught the attention of filmmaker Mark Zemel.

He has collected African art for over 44 years, amassing over 1 600 items from every country on the continent, with an estimated value of $10 million.

His goal is to open the Cultural Museum of African Art in New York, a space dedicated to showcasing African artefacts.
