With all kinds of new restrictions on buying booze, it’s time to decant your stock into the collection of glass bottles you’ve been hoarding under your sink since forever.
An even better idea would be to switch to drinking cocktails, and filling the bottles with mixers and cordials. Our collection of bottle stoppers are water-inspired – collected from a fishing store – with a few Lego-Duplo moments added to the mix.
You will need:
- A bottle collection. If you haven’t amassed your own over the years, you can go dumpster-diving outside a cocktail bar, or simply ask them to keep you a few of your favourite empties (and don’t forget to collect).
- Bottle stoppers. Ours are from Mias Angling & Scuba, 011 804 7861.
- Lego-Duplo. From any toy store or outgrown toy box.
- A wire tray. Pavement vendors usually have similar ones, or commission one to suit your requirements.
