Multimedia artist Kristen Meyer, based in Connecticut, USA, creates eye-catching geometric flat lays using everyday materials.

Kristen has worked in interior decorating, window design, prop styling and floral design. Under the brand name Salvage Design, Kristen makes striking patterns from broken, chopped, trimmed and crushed fragments of different materials.

Her Instagram feed, which showcases designs that include circles filled with petals or eggshells and squares made up of shells and broken crackers, celebrates her sharp eye for detail and her penchant for staging props.

Her works are set against neutral pastel backgrounds that accentuate her beautiful layouts.
