6. Elevator shaft by Museum : Cecilia, our brand manager, picked this pop-up museum in an abandoned elevator shaft in NY. “I would love to see this sort of thing more in SA — making use of the space in our cities that are often forgotten, to create something cool and interesting.” -
2. Beaded sheep at the Karoo Hotel : Content director Sumien’s love for “skaapies” (sheep) is no secret. This installation in a small dam at the entrance to the Karoo Hotel totally stole her heart. We’re not sure who the artist is, but life-size beaded sheep are available from Streetwires. -
7. Replica DB4 by Ivan Sentch : If you haven’t noticed yet, our art director, Anton, goes gaga for cars that, for now, he can only dream of owning. But wait! There’s a New Zealander 3D-printing an Aston Martin! Our crystal ball is telling us that Anton’s going to be glued to this blog. -
