Manila-based paper artist Patrick Cabral has turned his skill into something that creates awareness for the world’s endangered animals.

At first glance, one can see that Patrick brings new meaning to the phrase attention to detail. His 3D work features multi-layered cut-out shapes of small pieces of paper, which are glued together to make greater, more detailed pieces.

This Endangered Animals series, which features 15 endangered animals, including the polar bear, elephant and rhino, are made to raise funds for the cause, with half of the proceeds from the sale of the sculptures being donated to WWF Philippines.
