In Bloom: Neimil’s New Capsule Collection

Award-winning designer, Keneilwe Mathoe of Neimil has released a new capsule fashion and homeware collection called “Meadow Bloom”.

Founded by Keneilwe and photographer Lubabalo Mxalisa in 2018, South African-based Neimil focusses on interior design, fashion, and art. The brand’s latest capsule collection Meadow Bloom is characterised by flowing silhouettes, soft textures and delicate embellishments which evoke the timeless beauty and vibrant hues of nature.

“Meadow Bloom is an ode to life and growth and healing; a reminder that a brand-new start will blossom just as flowers do in the spring,” says Keneilwe. “There is an open meadow at home in Mpumalanga where many go to pray and just connect again with nature and observe the long grass swaying in the distance. This sense of tranquillity and serenity evoked a sense of nostalgia and renewal in me and inspired the designs.”

Equally evocative of renewal, pieces from the homeware collection included scatter cushions, cutlery and crockery, sideboards, and accessories in shades of blue with pops of colour.
