Love board games? The original MONOPOLY, which is not only celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, but has also been produced in 103 countries, will now include a Cape Town version.
As of Friday 5 June 2015, you can vote for the places you think should appear on the board, as well as what could appear on the “Community Chest” and “Chance” cards.
Dan Taylor, the Head of Monopoly, Winning Moves says, “Cape Town has long been on our list of regional MONOPOLY targets, and when we had the Mother City included on our anniversary edition, we knew this year was the one to bring MONOPOLY to Cape Town’s gorgeous shores. We’re extremely excited to see how it’s received and have high hopes that Cape Town will be the first of many South African MONOPOLY games to be launched in the next 3 years.”
