Lamps by Delightfull

The 60s and 70s are back, and we’re drooling over Delightfull’s new range of lights, set to be launched at Maison et Objet in Paris this week.

Inspired by 60s and 70s music and design legacies, the new products from the Portuguese design house include the showstopping Evans floor lamp, Brubeck wall lamp and Etta wall lamp.

Inspired by the North-American jazz musician Bill Evans, the Evans floor lamp is an ode to the rhythmic harmony of this era. Finished in golden-bathed brass, with shiny black aluminium lampshades, Evans has three diffusers – each one adjustable in height and direction.

The Brubeck wall lamp is inspired by music, but also by the art-deco movement. This piece consists of a group of irregular-sized pipes that, when combined, resemble a pipe organ. The innovative lamp can be used vertically or horizontally, and provides a soft, cosy light.

Jazz diva Etta Jones served as inspiration for the Etta wall lamp. Designed in the shape of a feminine body, Etta is made up of a group of copper strips, tied in the middle to mirror the form of a woman’s girdled bust. This lamp ingeniously combines the complexity of the many lighting elements with the simplicity of the human form.
