Artist Riusuke Fukahori’s debut London exhibition, “Goldfish Salvation”, transforms the ICN Gallery into an unbelievable underwater adventure.
It was while he was struggling with his artistic vision that Riusuke’s pet goldfish became his inspiration and then turned into his lifelong passion and the theme of his work. The artist’s unique painting style uses acrylic on clear resin, which is poured into containers to create a lifelike three-dimensional effect.
This exhibition at ICN, which only showcases the work of contemporary artists from Asia, features 20 new paintings by this leading Japanese contemporary artist.
Exhibition runs until 11 January at the ICN gallery in London.
