WORDS Debbie Loots
The fabric creators at La Maison Pierre Frey aren’t only celebrating their heritage, they’re also showing off their French flair and its guarantee of quality with a fab new campaign, “Made in France”.
And boast these Froggies can, as they are one of the few textile companies still manufacturing 70% of their fabrics at their own mill in France, bagging them a French Living Heritage label from the French state. Back to their campaign and also check out a bunch of short movies on Instagram about their artisans, a quiz on Facebook and a photo contest in May offering big prizes. Not sure where to start? Watch the short movie by young film director, Antoine de Barry, Made in France, and get a glimpse into the world of La Maison Pierre Frey’s fabric making with panache.
Great news for us Saffers is that the new Aloha range, launched at Maison & Objet in January and shown in the gallery above, is locally available at Mavromac.
