The combined creative curiosity of Lorna Bailey, Founder of The Mill Fabrics, and fashion designer Johan Botha, lead to the brand’s most recent fashion for furnishing installation, a dynamic mix of interior design fabrics influenced by high fashion.
Made from The Mill Fabrics’ Linton Tweed range, using 1920s-style tweed suiting as inspiration, the duo created the Raspberry Ripple suit. The suit, modelled by Annemi Venter, features clashing textured cross weaves, while the purse features a uniquely constructed triangular design.

The Mill Fabrics: Linton Tweed – Tutti Frutti
Making use of The Mill Fabrics’ Ditsy – Fruit Salad, a classic, micro-geometric design from the brand’s Preveli range, Johan created the purse and combined it with a Leather Trunk – Ranch Red handle.
The Linton Tweed upholstery fabric collection features as many as 42 cross-colourways. Married with its soil- and water-repellent finish and an abrasion resistance of 60 000 Martindale Rubs, this durable fabric range features a strong construction, holding its moulded shape.
