Fabrosanz and Renaissance Design have joined forces in a brand new collection entitled “My Altitude”, which pays homage to Pedi, Tsonga and Venda cultures.
These South African cultures predominately from the North are not often represented on runways. “Our collection celebrates and proudly elevates the high-spirited and humble people of the North,” explains Glorinah Khutso Mabaso, winner of the Trenery Print Competition 2020 and owner of Renaissance Design.
Both brands have a passion for African design, culture and heritage and want to showcase the beauty behind the fabrics, colours and motifs, translated into a contemporary way while being true to the rich history that the patterns and colours represent.
