Eijffinger Wallpaper Collections

These five wallpaper collections from designer wallcovering brand Eijffinger range from the bold to the enchanting.

Five beautiful wallpaper collections have been launched by the 150-year-old Dutch company Eijffinger, known for its stunning wallcoverings. The collections – called Black & Light, Planish, Savor, Salisbury and the children’s collection Tout Petit – are available at Dreamweaver Studios, the exclusive Eijffinger distributor in South Africa.

“The five new collections are diverse, but there is a dose of quirky and contemporary design in every Eijffinger range,” says Haidee Kramer of Dreamweaver Studios. Haidee established the local fabric and wallpaper business in 2013 after working in the design and textile industry for more than two decades.

The bold, edgy designs of Black & Light are inspired by ancient African motifs and other graphic patterns interpreted in a contemporary way, says Haidee. The Savor collection is full of colour and has “a global tribal feel that celebrates artisanal products and heritage”. Tout Petit is a childrens’ range that illustrates “the trend towards more sophisticated kids’ decor, with a muted palette accented with bursts of colour”.
