ADVERTORIAL
Memorable projects are often the result of a creative collaboration, and we couldn’t have produced VISI 57 – The Hidden Issue – without the support of Sappi paper. Thanks to them, we were able to give the magazine an elegant dust jacket.
The jacket was printed on Masuga – a remarkable paper with a unique proportion of 90% bagasse (sugar-cane waste) to 10% virgin wood fibres. Masuga has a natural look with a rich, creamy colour enhanced by speckles of visible bagasse fibre. Yet, to the touch, this earthy uncoated paper has the luxurious, tactile feel of paper that’s perfectly smooth.
Just as a designer of integrity chooses materials and finishes with care, so too Sappi carefully sources their fibres from well-managed and responsible plantations that are FSC-certified.
With all great design the product is more than the mere sum of its parts. So too Masuga is a distinctive paper that not only offers designers a wonderful canvas on which to work, but is in itself a product of great design.
The hidden facts:
• Masuga is 100% locally produced by Sappi.
• Masuga is uncoated and unbleached.
• Masuga comes in a range of grammages: 100, 120, 170, and 350 grams.
• Masuga is ideal for annual reports, sustainability reports, corporate identity material, direct-mail campaigns, greeting cards, swing tickets, invitations, leaflets and posters.
• Masuga is 100% recyclable.
