Interested in the role of the designer as mediator between culture and nature? Then don’t miss out on these workshops for professional and student designers.
Facilitated by Karen Suskin, Haldane Martin and Helen van Zyl, the workshops – held during May, July and August in Cape Town – aims to:
· Explore the connecting patterns in nature and living concepts in thinking.
· Deepen and refine individual and collective purpose.
· Respond to the imperatives arising out of change.
· Extend our respect for social and environmental concern.
· Lead design towards an integrated and balanced future.
Professionals and students interested in exploring the emerging design field, sharing generative theories, practical ideas and imagining a common future are invited to participate.
