In conjunction with the Cape Town Art Fair (CTAF), running from 17 to 19 February 2017, local screen print studio 50ty/50ty (who we previously featured here) is launching a special release limited edition screen print by popular Cape Town-based artist Matthew Hindley.
This is Matthew’s first collaboration with the studio, who have also collaborated with the likes of Michael Taylor, Brett Murray, Mia Chaplin, Gerhard Human, Elsabé Milandri, Asha Zero, Norman O’Flynn, David Brits, Barbara Wildenboer, Julia Rosa Clark, Olivié Keck, Daniella Mooney, Siwa Mgoboza, Alexia Vogel and Nina Torr.
The screen print, entitled Black Gold, is hand-coloured and limited to a run of 50. You can purchase the work at the CTAF for R3 800.
Together with Matthew’s work, 50ty/50ty will also be showcasing two more new releases, namely Signs by Gitte Möller and Apocalypse Later by Mia Chaplin.
