Buy a Plywood Chair T-shirt… or two!

If you’ve always dreamed of owning an Eames Molded Plywood Dining Chair, well, you can always wear one instead, thanks to these must-have T-shirts by The Medium Control Design Company.

Renowned for “putting design onto design” in limited-edition functional goods, the Minnesota-based company has hand-screen-printed this vintage chair onto affordably priced poly-cotton-blend T-shirts for men and women. They’re available in a selection of sizes and colours, from coffee-brown and black for guys, to plum for girls.

The design is also featured on limited-edition military-style messenger bags, satchels and carry-alls, as well as vinyl decals in a range of colour choices, from black and white to red, yellow and green.

Time magazine chose the Molded Plywood Dining Chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946, as the Best Design of the 20^th Century and it’s featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
