VISI covets this quirky and clever birdhouse by Porky Hefer from Animal Farm.
Co-designed by Warren Lewis, the birdhouse acts as a deterrent for uninvited visitors as it can be mounted outside, either on a tree or against the wall.
An installation of the birdhouses, which forms part of the SALON/locale initiativ, can be seen at the Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel in Cape Town’s Long Street until 26 February. SALON/locale aims to showcase fashion, art, design and photography in unexpected locations around the city.
