Cole & Son unveiled their stunning wallpaper collaboration with Ardmore earlier this year at a preview of their Spring 2025 collections in Paris. Showcasing vibrant fruits, flowers, and birds, “The Tree of Life” highlights the powerful intersection of art and design. Now, this remarkable wallpaper is set to make its South African debut at the historic Mount Nelson from February 20 to 23, 2025.
This launch is more than just a celebration of the collaboration between two esteemed brands – it marks a significant milestone for both. Cole & Son commemorates its 150th anniversary, while Ardmore celebrates an impressive 40 years of artistry. Adding to the occasion, the debut of the wallpaper coincides with Taking Flight, Ardmore’s exclusive ceramic exhibition, hosted at the historic Mount Nelson.
“The Tree of Life represents more than just a beautiful design; it embodies the essence of our collective journey as artists and creators,” said Fée Halsted, Founder of Ardmore. “The Baobab tree is a symbol of life and positivity. After its debut at the iconic Cape Town hotel, “The Tree of Life” will continue its journey, gracing prestigious venues in London and New York later in the year.
