Amazing cellphone photography

The #INSTAWALKJHB x #IARTJOBURG exhibition will see local cellphone photographers showing off their images of the I Art Joburg murals at Area3 in Maboneng through the month of November.

The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between adidas Originals, who were responsible for the I Art Joburg mural project, and Instagramers Jozi, an informal group of Johannesburg-based Instagram fanatics. All the photos were taken during walking tours of the mural project.

Not “informal” nor “Instagram” give any clues as to the quality of these images though. Selected from 1000s of submissions, the top 50 snaps will be on display and for sale.

Amazing what can be done with cellphones these days!
