An exhibition of bronze sculptures by artist Dylan Lewis will be housed at the Everard Read Gallery in Cape Town from 16 – 29 March 2011.
Continuing to work with the human figure, Lewis explores mankind’s relationship to the “wilderness” in nature and in ourselves.
Focusing on the psychological impact urbanisation and modern life have on us, Lewis’s masked and horned men and women represent the balanced integration of two worlds. This is something the artist hopes we would all strive for.
