In our search for hot design items to showcase, we stumbled upon this gorgeous design that brings light right down to the table to create a magical symbiosis between nature and a man-made, illuminating object.
Vase&Leuchte – which includes a series of three lights – illuminates the plant, while the plant refracts and stages the light. The plant is no longer just decoration; it becomes a component of a useful object.
German designer Miriam Aust describes the nature as being presented artificially: the living being, the plant, is used as a material, resulting in “laboratory aesthetics” in the home.
