This week, the Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village will celebrate a week of design-inspired exhibits, pop-up galleries, events and themed installations. VISI will be there, of course.
In a coup for the lifestyle destination, leading interior stylist and VISI decor editor Tracy Lynch has curated the event, blending creativity and retail in a series of themed installations, which weave in elements and objects from selected retailers in the centre.
VISI is inviting the covet community to visit Design Now! and win. Share photos of covetable items, from furniture and homeware to jewellery, by uploading images to the Covet network via VISI.co.za or the free Covet iPhone app. We will award daily prizes to coveters who upload photos from the event.
Themes such as Designer Nature, Culture Clash and Old School, New School explore contemporary decor and design objects with a fresh and interesting eye. A live design installation will also be taking place. The latest Airstream to be acquired by the Daddy group, destined for Old Mac Daddy Luxury Trailer Park in Elgin, will be decorated on site by furniture designer, Aaron Kearney. Witness the transformation daily from 9.30am till 6 pm.
Other highlights of the programme include:
