Move over Nguni, zebra and springbok – there’s a whole new herd inhabiting our homes.
VISI has been at the forefront of reporting on the ongoing rural trend, which has been inspiring design and décor since 2009. Now, it seems, farm animals have literally migrated into city homes. Goat-hide and sheepskin along with horn, riempie, wood and woven grass celebrate the earthy textures and colours of the South African rural landscape, yet are comfortable in contemporary urban settings.
