For many, a well-made home has more meaning than meets the eye. It creates a space for memories, for creativity and inspiration, for community. A home sets the tone, and the pieces that fill it tell the stories. It’s exactly why Pedersen + Lennard has opened the doors to its first Johannesburg store in Parkhurst.

Since day one, Pedersen + Lennard’s founders, Luke Pedersen and James Lennard, have stuck by their motto: “build a good, honest business that employs a decent number of people and creates really well-built pieces”. Eighteen years on, from a single workshop in Cape Town, they’ve done exactly that, and so much more.

Extending the brand’s home to the Johannesburg community – and meeting them where they are – therefore felt not only natural, but essential.

This year marks two milestones for the design collective: eighteen years of considered design, and a new chapter north of the Cape – one that finds its home at 62 6th Street, among Parkhurst’s leading design and lifestyle names. | pedersenlennard.co.za
