WORDS Lindi Brownell Meiring VIDEO Great Big Story on Vimeo
Twenty-six-year-old British puppeteer Barnaby Dixon started making his quirky little puppets two years ago.

“Each of these puppets represents maybe two months’ work and it’s a process that’s driven completely by trial and error,” says Barnaby in the clip. Made using bits of raw metal and plumber’s epoxy, as well as other parts sourced online, each character is made with a specific purpose in mind.

Barnaby, who makes these puppets in his bedroom, creates YouTube videos that centre on the adventures of each puppet, which you can watch here.
