If you’re in Joburg, make sure you head to 100% Design South Africa at Decorex at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 6 – 10 August 2014.

With the widest variety of decor solutions available, all showcased under one roof for five days, this is the opportunity for homeowners and trade professionals alike to find ideas, inspiration and new products – often at reduced prices.

This year Decorex Joburg celebrates its 21st year and a host of new and exciting features.

100% Design South Africa, one of the top design exhibitions in the world and (sponsored by Dauphin office furniture), takes place alongside Decorex Joburg this year. When purchasing your entrance ticket to Decorex Joburg, it will also gain you access to 100% Design South Africa’s much-anticipated exhibition.

Look out for the Design and Trend Forecast, presented by Caesarstone and featuring top trend analyst Dion Chang, which will give you an instant update on the latest decor, kitchen and lifestyle trends. Separate tickets are available on the Decorex SA website for those wanting to attend this event.

There will be a selection of unique and interactive installations to look forward to at Decorex Joburg, where the theme of the show is Design Your Life. There’s a special focus on individual style and finding the decor and design solutions that work for you. Plascon will be launching their exciting new paint colour palette for 2015 and experts on the Plascon stand will demonstrate exactly how to use their paints to great effect.

The DionWired Design Your Life Theatre will feature South Africa’s barista champion Craig Charity, together with a team of Jozi’s top foodies to provide some food and drink inspiration. The kitchen is sponsored by Kitchen Frontiers.

At Craft Collective, the region’s top handmade wares will be on show and one of the country’s leading interior designers Sam Lurie will collaborate with St Leger & Viney to showcase her design style as well as her newly launched fabric range.

There will also be a special focus on flooring solutions, with Belgotex floor coverings bringing together a group of six designers at the Belgotex Trend House to demonstrate all the different options available when it comes to floor treatments.

VISI is also the official partner of the stand designed by Dokter + Misses, and will be dishing out free copies of the magazine to visitors during the show.

The show runs from 10am until 7pm daily (6pm on Sunday).
