Renovating your bathroom on a tight budget? Why shop around for affordable towel rails if you can imitate the Italian bathroom giants by adding wood into the mix?

You’ll cut the cost in half at the same time.

Inspired by Italian bathroom and kitchen brand Boffi’s Twig accessories, as seen at Salon del Mobile 2016 in Milan, we bought the chrome brackets separately and added a dowel rod sawed to the right length.

The Scull guest towel, R129 for two, is from H&M. We bought the chrome brackets and dowel rod at Timber City.
