Give your living space a new lease on life with the fresh colour and cheerful motifs of authentic South African fabrics. Or, if your fingers itch, make a patchwork, says Marian van Wyk: “I love combining different motifs and colours and, if I have the time, stitching them together to create something fabulous. For my blanket (which is nearly finished!) I chose different South African symbols, like shwe-shwe, fynbos, proteas, the Bush and farm motifs.”
