The Dhow Towel, Mungo’s first 100% linen bath sheet and the largest towel in the brand’s range, is inspired by the dhows spotted along the beaches of the East African coast. Made from sustainable Belgian-grown linen and woven at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay, the bath sheets are ideal to use both at home or on the beach.

Using a subtle colour palette of indigo and white, the Dhow collection is available in three variations, namely the waffle-woven Dhow Block, the armur-woven Dhow Diamond and the honeycomb-woven Dhow Stripe.

The towels retail at R800 each.

South African photographer Adriaan Oosthuizen has designed a clever beach accessory that’s a must-have for summer.

Known as Koelte, this beach tent is made up of a piece of 3m x 3m stretchy polyester with an Ultra Violet Protection Factor of 50+, blocking 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. Weighing only 4kgs, this clever accessory is perfect for a day at the beach, a camping trip or even an outdoor picnic.
