Winter’s demise is imminent, and what better way to celebrate the onset of spring than by channelling the hippies of yesteryear with flowers in your hair – facial hair, that is.
Photos of men with flowers in their beards have recently sprung up (excuse the pun) all over the Internet, and the unusual phenomenon is said to be the next big hipster trend. We actually sighed with relief to know that it wasn’t something of a more permanent nature (tattooed beards, anyone?) and found the juxtaposition of unapologetic masculinity with feminine florals rather refreshing.
Still in its infancy, and more of an online artistic expression than the newest fashion accessory, we don’t expect to see hordes of fixie-riding dandies pulling off these facial flourishes just yet – but you have been warned…
